Point Vizard Agent at the moment that sounds cut and say nothing may be removed. It checks the clip's edit settings, reads the source's word timings at that spot, and lines the clip's audio up against the original sample by sample. If they match, the jump is in the recording itself, and it tells you so instead of changing the clip.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Give the clip and the timecode, and say what must not happen. The natural response to "it sounds like something was cut" is to smooth the join, which changes a clip that may already be correct. Asking Vizard Agent for a check first keeps the fix honest.

Please check clip 14. At 0:17 it sounds like something was cut out, the words jump. Nothing should be clipped out.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

When does this not work well?

When the clip was rebuilt from a different export of the source. A re-encoded or mixed version will not match sample for sample even where nothing was cut, so the comparison has to fall back to word timings and listening, which is less conclusive.

Common questions

Was something cut out of my clip? Vizard Agent compares it with the source to find out.

Will it change the clip anyway? No. Vizard Agent leaves a clip that matches the source as it is.
