How to correct subtitles and have the translation follow your corrections
Send Vizard Agent your corrections as a timestamped list, including the lines that should simply go. What do you type into Vizard Agent?
Write it out as a list and mark the deletions differently from the edits. Mixing "change this line" and "remove this line" in the same prose is exactly how a line you wanted gone comes back from Vizard Agent reworded. A time, then what the line should actually say, is enough.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?
Automatic subtitles get names, dialect words and half-heard lines wrong. A translation generated from the audio hears the same unclear word you just fixed and gets it wrong the same way, in a language you may not read. So nothing gets translated until the source subtitles are the text you approved. In the session behind this article it:
- Read the existing subtitle track and its timings, then applied each correction at the timestamp the user gave.
- Removed the lines marked for deletion rather than rewording them, and fixed the spellings, including names.

When does this not work well?
A translation that follows your corrected text is right for accuracy, and not always for idiom. A line that reads naturally in the original can come back translated literally, and those lines need a pass of their own. Corrections without timestamps are hard to place reliably, and the timings won't match a recut.
