What does Vizard Agent actually do?
A channel trailer has to look like more than you actually filmed. The measuring at the start is what makes the crop safe, and the generation in the middle is what makes the trailer look bigger than the footage. A fixed crop loses a presenter the moment he leans, so Vizard Agent tracks his face instead. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?
Generated shots are convincing at atmosphere and not at specifics. Vizard Agent uses them where a wide, moody, general image does the job, but generated gear looks wrong to people who know gear, and a generated person is not you. A wide take also crops hard: face tracking keeps the presenter in frame and still loses the room around him.
