How to make a highlight reel from sports footage

Finding the plays is a search problem: two hours of a youth game might hold eight moments worth sharing. This run is instructive for an unusual reason. The footage was never attached, so it shows what Vizard Agent does when it has nothing of yours to work with. In the session behind this article it:

Same uniforms and no visible number mean some plays get missed, phone footage from the stands loses detail to shake and fences, and in football or hockey the ball is often a few pixels.
