How to make a logo sit on fabric instead of looking pasted on

Step nine is why this works. You cannot displace a logo convincingly while the flat original is still underneath it, so Vizard Agent reconstructs the cloth first and treats the logo as something being printed onto a real surface.
What does the result look like?
The finished image this page is written from is a thumbnail where the logo now bends across the shirt's folds, darkens where the cloth is in shadow, and carries a trace of the weave — with no seam where the reworked region was pasted back into the full-size picture.
The settings that got there were specific: forty per cent shading depth and eighty per cent fabric grain, reached by rendering a version, looking at it closely, and reducing the shading when the first attempt looked heavy.
When does this not work well?
The whole technique depends on isolating the logo cleanly and on the surface underneath having some visible structure to displace against. Vizard Agent shows you the mask before it commits to anything, because a mask that accidentally catches a finger will go on to erase part of the hand.
- Logos over hands or edges. The mask picks up what it should not.
- Flat, evenly lit surfaces. Nothing to displace against.
- Very small logos. Displacement becomes noise.
- Low resolution. The inpainting shows.
- Heavy patterns behind it. The reconstruction has to invent them.
How do you fix a result that came back wrong?
Say whether it is too much or too little. Vizard Agent keeps the mask, the reconstructed fabric and the blend parameters, so a lighter or heavier version is a re-render of the region rather than a fresh start.

Do I need the logo as a separate file? It helps. Vizard Agent can isolate it from the image by colour if you do not have one.
