How to make an animated magnifying glass actually enlarge what it passes over

Tell Vizard Agent what the magnifying glass should focus on. It replaces the glass's flat disc with a see-through lens, animates it onto the target, and renders an enlarged copy of the footage underneath inside the lens, following the glass frame by frame, so the detail genuinely grows as the glass passes over it.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Name the thing under the glass and, if you have one, send a clip of the movement you like. An explainer's magnifier exists to point at something, so "make it focus on the circle with the red marks" gives Vizard Agent both the destination and the test: the marks should be bigger inside the lens than outside it.

During the part with the magnifying glass, I want the glass to focus on the circle with the red marks, like in the reference video.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

It treats the lens as a window onto a second, larger copy of the picture. Moving a glass graphic is easy; making the inside of the lens show the scene enlarged needs that copy to travel with the glass, or the lens shows the wrong part of the image. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?

When the detail is already at the limit of the footage's resolution. Enlarging it inside the lens shows the softness, so very fine text or a tiny symbol may need a cleaner close-up source. Fast glass moves are the other limit, because the enlarged copy has to keep up with the rim.

Common questions

Why does my magnifying glass not magnify? It is only a graphic. Vizard Agent renders an enlarged view inside it.

Does the lens follow the glass? Yes. Vizard Agent locks the enlarged view to the glass's path.

Can I copy a reference move? Yes. Vizard Agent studies the reference and matches its travel.
