What does Vizard Agent actually do?

Here is the order Vizard Agent worked in on a real animated wallpaper. The whole job is layer separation, and the interesting part is that Vizard Agent generated the layers it needed rather than trying to extract them from the flat image.

  1. Opens the attached image and measures its size.
  2. Generates a clean sky plate with the foreground elements removed.

Widescreen, two minutes of seamless loop built from a ten-second cycle, with the clouds drifting steadily and the sign flickering irregularly against a completely still foreground.

Delivering two minutes rather than the ten-second cycle is deliberate. A wallpaper player that restarts a short file visibly stutters at the loop point, and a longer file with the cycle repeated inside it hides the join.

When does this not work well?

Separating a flat image into moving layers means generating the parts of the scene you cannot see behind the foreground, and how cleanly that goes depends entirely on how complicated the picture is. Why is this harder than adding a zoom to a photo? Because a slow zoom moves the whole picture at once and needs no separation. An animated wallpaper moves two or three elements while everything else stays perfectly still, which means each one needs its own mask, its own animation, and a generated plate of whatever sits behind it.
