How to show off a brand identity you designed as a reel

Last updated 2026-09-01 · 8 min read

Upload the identity — logo, palette, typography, cards, packaging — and say the artwork must not change. Vizard Agent animates the camera around it instead: hero shot, elegant moves, close-ups on the details, every reveal landing on a beat, with each design exactly as you made it.

What is the short version?

A brand identity is a set of flat images, and flat images do not travel. The reel that makes them travel adds motion around the work rather than to it — because the work is the thing you are being judged on.

  1. Go to Vizard Agent and upload every piece of the identity.
  2. Say explicitly that nothing in the artwork may be altered.
  3. Say the order of reveals and roughly how long it should run.

What do you need before you start?

The finished artwork, exported at the best resolution you have. Vizard Agent moves the camera across your images and pushes right into the details, so a small export directly limits how far it can travel in before the work stops looking crisp on screen.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Spend most of the brief forbidding changes. Vizard Agent will otherwise improve things — a cleaner logo, a nicer type pairing — and every one of those improvements is a change to the work you are presenting as yours.

Prompt

Make a premium cinematic [9:16] Reel showcasing a complete brand identity. Use the attached assets as the exact visual references and preserve all logos, colours, typography, patterns and designs exactly as provided. Show the elements one by one: logo, colour palette, typography, business cards, packaging, social designs. Modern editorial, high-end studio look — subtle camera moves, smooth zoom-ins, close-up details, clean transitions. Open on a hero shot of the logo and end on the complete identity. IMPORTANT: do not redesign, alter, regenerate, distort or change any asset. [10–15] seconds.

Variants worth knowing:

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

Here is the order Vizard Agent worked in on a real brand identity reel. Notice that the music is analysed for its beats before a single scene is built — the cutting rhythm comes from the track, not the other way round.

  1. Downloads and inspects every supplied brand asset.
  2. Probes their metadata and builds a contact sheet of all of them.
  3. Reviews the contact sheet to see the whole identity at once.
  4. Lists the available visual effects and transitions.
  5. Builds contact sheets of the sequences and reviews specific assets closely.
  6. Searches for a music track and generates a custom one for the reel.
  7. Probes the generated track and analyses its beat structure.
  8. Checks the exact dimensions of every image asset.
  9. Detects the musical beat timestamps to cut against.
  10. Generates transition and impact sound effects.
  11. Checks the available typefaces and locates the font files.
  12. Tests the scene builder before constructing anything.

Step eight is a small thing that decides how the reel looks. Knowing each asset's real dimensions is what lets Vizard Agent plan a push-in that stays sharp, rather than discovering halfway through a move that the artwork has run out of resolution.

What does the result look like?

The picture cut this page is written from measured 720x1280 at 30fps and ran 16 seconds, with the music and sound design generated separately and laid under it. The brief asked for ten to fifteen seconds of fast but elegant pacing.

Every asset appears exactly as it was supplied. The motion is entirely in the camera and the transitions — a hero shot of the logo, the palette, the type specimen, the applications, and a closing composition of the whole identity.

When does this not work well?

The reel is a presentation of your work, so anything it does to the work is a problem rather than a feature. Vizard Agent respects a no-changes rule strictly, which also means it cannot fix an asset that arrives too small.

How do you fix a result that came back wrong?

Name the asset that is wrong, or the moment in the reel. Vizard Agent keeps the detected beat map, every asset's measured dimensions and the full scene plan, so a reordered reveal or a longer hold on one element is a re-render rather than a rebuild.

How does Vizard Agent compare to doing it yourself?

By hand this is an afternoon in a motion tool, keyframing camera moves across a dozen stills and nudging each transition until it sits on the beat. Vizard Agent detects the beat timestamps and builds the moves against them.

By hand Vizard Agent
Cutting rhythm Nudged onto the beat Built from detected beat timestamps
The artwork Touched up "just slightly" Untouched, by instruction
Push-ins Try and see Planned from each asset's real size

Common questions

Will it change my artwork? Not if you say so, and you should say so. Vizard Agent moves the camera, not the design.

What resolution do I need? As high as you have. Vizard Agent pushes into details and small files show it.

How long should the reel be? Ten to twenty seconds. Vizard Agent fits about six elements into that.

What order works? Logo, palette, typography, then applications. Vizard Agent follows whatever order you set.

Does it generate the music? Yes. Vizard Agent composes a track and detects its beats to cut against.

Can it add sound effects? Yes. Vizard Agent generates transition and impact sounds for the reveals.

What if my assets are different sizes? It checks each one. Vizard Agent plans the framing from their real dimensions.

Can it use my mockup templates? Yes, as supplied images. Vizard Agent will not regenerate them.

Can I get a square version? Yes. Vizard Agent re-frames the same scenes for another aspect ratio.

Does it work for a rebrand comparison? Yes. Vizard Agent can show the old and new identities in sequence.

Why does "do not regenerate" matter so much? Because you are presenting this as your design work. A generator that quietly cleans up a letterform has changed the thing being judged, and the client will see the version that is not yours.

Can I do one per project? Yes. Vizard Agent keeps the treatment so a whole portfolio can share one look.

Does it check the result? Yes. Vizard Agent reviews every supplied asset and the built scenes before committing to a render.

Can it show a pattern or a texture? Yes. Vizard Agent treats a pattern sheet as another element and pushes into its detail.

Should there be text on screen? Usually very little. The identity's own typography is doing that job, and a caption layer competes with it.
