What does Vizard Agent actually do?
Echo isn't noise. Noise is something added to the recording; echo is your own voice arriving twice, and the tools that remove hiss and hum do nothing about hard walls. So it measures the reverberation, then judges each fix two ways, because a spectrogram can show the tail shrinking while the voice has gone hollow. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?
Dereverberation is a repair with real limits. A tiled bathroom is close to unrecoverable, over-processing makes the voice thin and metallic, and music suffers more than speech because instruments rely on their own decay. A microphone across the room stays across the room. If you can re-record in a better room, do that instead.
