How to turn a build tutorial video into a drawing for each part

Last updated 2026-10-10 · 2 min read

Send Vizard Agent the build video and ask for a procedure and a separate drawing for each part. It works out the parts and their order from the frames, draws one labelled sheet per part, uses only the dimensions the video actually states, and marks every other size as adjustable rather than inventing one.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Say how you want the plans split, and which views you need. "Blueprints" can mean one overview or a sheet for every piece, and a front, back and side view of the housing is a different drawing from a part sheet. Naming the parts you care about keeps the booklet to the ones you will build.

Make a step-by-step procedure from this video. Then a separate blueprint for each part, like the coin wheel and the mounting panel. Show the front, back and side of the machine, and put the parts in alphabetical order.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

It treats the video as evidence and the drawings as a record of it. Anything it cannot see or hear in the tutorial is labelled as an assumption on the sheet, because a confident number on a plan is the one you will cut to. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?

When the video never shows a measurement. The drawings are then right in shape and order but not in size, and you have to test-fit. Mechanisms filmed from one angle, or hidden inside the housing, are the other gap: Vizard Agent marks them as inferred instead of guessing.

Common questions

Are the dimensions exact? Only the ones the video states. Vizard Agent marks the rest adjustable.

Can I get one sheet per part? Yes. Vizard Agent draws a labelled page for each piece.

Can it adapt the plans to my version? Yes. Send photos of your prototype and Vizard Agent revises the sheets.
