What does Vizard Agent actually do?
A nine-square image is rarely divided into exact thirds. Borders have width, margins differ, and the source may have been exported with a stray pixel, so dividing by three leaves a sliver of the neighbouring cell on almost every slide. When does this not work well?
Splitting an image assumes its cells make sense on their own, and plenty of grids are designed to be seen whole: a composition split into nine reads as fragments. Low resolution divides badly, since each slide gets a fraction of the original's pixels, and a design that bleeds across cells has no lines to measure.
