How to correct a product shot that shows more than the customer gets

What does Vizard Agent actually do?
For Vizard Agent the job is a single image edit followed by a lot of tracking, and the tracking is where it goes wrong. The clearest frame of an object is usually where the camera is closest, so an edit built from it is the wrong size and angle for the rest of the shot. In the session behind this article it:
- Sampled frames, mapped the whole timeline for every appearance of the biscuit and measured how much it shifted across the close-up.
- Cropped the clearest frame and edited it into a half biscuit, keeping the surrounding topping and lighting, then found the crop no longer matched once the camera moved closer.
- Re-cropped from a representative mid-shot frame and took keyframes across the shot to calculate the size and position changes, fixing the start, the end and the point before the fade.
- Rendered with a soft mask along that path, found the new biscuit not fully covering the old one, and corrected the trajectory.
- Matched the final duration exactly to the original and re-checked the audio.
When does this not work well?
Some corrections change the whole shot. If the item is handled, poured, cut or eaten on camera, the change has to hold through every action, and a single tracked overlay can't do that: it becomes a reshoot. Items that melt or sink, very shallow focus, and reflective surfaces where the original shows in the glaze are hard too.
