How to finish a single-take video without cutting it

What does Vizard Agent actually do?
Some videos aren't edits at all. In a yoga flow, a performance or a process demonstration the value is the unbroken take, so finishing is everything except cutting: orientation, trim, grade, sound and delivery. Vizard Agent measures before it acts, rather than stabilising by default. In the session behind this article it:
- Probed a 3840x2160, 30fps ProRes yoga take, 230.6 seconds long and stored sideways, and confirmed the rotation for a 2160x3840 portrait delivery.
- Pinned the trim from about 2.55 to 224 seconds, with a 0.8-second fade in and a 2.5-second fade to black.
- Tested grade looks on stills, compared brighter variants at full resolution, checked noise and detail, and measured neutral reference patches.
- Measured the frame-to-frame drift and found the tripod had held to under two pixels across the whole take, so it skipped stabilising.
- Timed the render on a short slice, found the grade chain too slow for 4K, and baked the approved look into a LUT, verified against the original.
- Replaced the scratch audio with a loudness-matched music bed and delivered the master and a 1080 version.
When does this not work well?
Finishing a single take means living with everything it contains: there's no second angle and no B-roll, so a bad moment mid-take stays in. Stabilising heavy drift crops the frame, a grade can't recover blown highlights, and compressed exports show banding when graded.
Common questions
Does it need to stabilise my footage? Often not. Vizard Agent measures the drift first and skips stabilisation if the camera held.
Can I choose the grade? Yes, and you should. Vizard Agent renders options as stills for you to pick from.
Why bake the grade into a LUT? Speed. Vizard Agent does it when the filter chain is too slow at full resolution, and verifies the match first.
