Vizard Agent

How to hide an outfit change at the bottom of a bend

Give Vizard Agent both takes and say which movement should hide the change. It finds the lowest point of the bend in each take and lines up the room if the phone moved between them. Then it cuts straight from one take to the other and checks the join frame by frame for a repeated dip.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Say which take comes first and what the movement is. Film the second take copying the first one's speed and depth as closely as you can. Small differences in where the phone stood are fine, because Vizard Agent can match the background, but the move itself has to be the same.

Join these two clips so it looks like I bend down in my home clothes and come back up already dressed up.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

It treats the join as a straight cut that has to disappear, not as a transition effect. The head must be at the same height on both sides of the cut, and the room must not jump, even though the two takes were filmed about half an hour apart. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?

When the two moves are very different. If one bend is fast and the other slow, or the head drops in a different part of the frame, no cut point lines them up. Then the only fix is another take, filmed to copy the first one's speed and depth.

Common questions

Do I need a tripod? It helps. Vizard Agent can match a phone that moved slightly.

Why not use a flash or spin? Vizard Agent hides the cut inside the movement instead.

What if the move looks doubled? Vizard Agent shifts the cut points until it doesn't.
