How to keep what was approved and change only what was not
Name what the last version got right and what still needs changing. Vizard Agent freezes the approved parts as a mask: the timing, the structure, the behaviour you signed off. It builds the new revision inside that mask and checks the result against it before delivery, so nothing approved quietly moved.
What do you type into Vizard Agent?
Write the freeze list out in capitals if that helps you be exhaustive. The list does real work: every attribute you name is one that Vizard Agent cannot quietly improve on while it is busy fixing something else. "The timing, the mask, the audio and the retrigger behaviour" is a usable freeze list, and "it felt right" is not.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?
Rather than trying to remember what must not change, it writes the approved version down as a structure: which slot starts when, and how long it lasts. The new revision then has somewhere to fit rather than something to match. This was a fifth revision of a music video, where the client had approved the fourth version's structure and only the sequencing of the shots inside it was still wrong. In the session behind this article it:
- Built the approved version's edit list, rendered it, measured it frame by frame and confirmed a flagged problem was a false positive rather than acting on it.
- Loaded the approved plan, located the original source images and classified all thirteen one at a time, watching how several of them actually played in the cut.
- Froze the approved version as a mask, listed its slots in time and saved the mask with every slot it contained.
- Validated the sequencing graph, detected the blocks it could reorder and built the new sequence inside the frozen mask, rebalancing where the walk through it ran uneven.
- Rendered the new master with the original audio, verified it against the mask before uploading and checked specific moments across the new cut.
When does this not work well?
A freeze list only protects the things it actually names, and the attributes people forget to write down are reliably the ones that end up moving. Some changes can't be made without touching part of what you froze, and Vizard Agent will say so rather than break it quietly. V2's feel and V4's structure may not coexist either.
