How to lower the opacity of a text box burnt into your video

Tell Vizard Agent which box to lighten and what should show through it. A box burnt into the video has no layer to fade, so it finds the picture behind the box in an earlier shot, lifts the existing lettering off as its own layer, and rebuilds the card with a lighter, see-through box under the original text.

What do you type into Vizard Agent?

Point at the box and say what you would accept, a lighter box or none at all. Saying what should show through, like the product behind it, helps, because Vizard Agent has to find that picture somewhere else in the video. The finished card has no hidden layers to switch off.

In the last frame where the promo banner is, just lower the opacity of that navy background, or have no background at all. The back of the jacket would be fine.

What does Vizard Agent actually do?

It treats the card as a flat picture, because that is what it is. Fading the box means rebuilding everything under it: the background it hides and the edges of every letter on top. In the session behind this article it:

When does this not work well?

When nothing else in the video shows what the box covers. If the card was made over a picture that never appears elsewhere, there is nothing true to reveal, and the honest options are a new background or simply removing the box over a plain colour.

Will my text change? No. Vizard Agent lifts the original letters instead of retyping them.

Can I remove the box completely? Yes, if Vizard Agent can find what it hides.
