How to replace the background behind you on camera

Keying works off the edge of your silhouette, so most of the job is checking rather than doing. Vizard Agent looks at what it produced, finds a problem and goes back. Compositing a frame over a colour nothing in the scene contains shows a bad edge immediately. In the session behind this article it:

- Caught a phone clip keyed sideways, because background removal ignores the phone's rotate flag, by scanning for frames with any content at all, and re-encoded the source upright before trying again.

When does this not work well?
Everything is decided by the edge of your silhouette. Phone footage filmed sideways is the reliable failure: the key reads the stored picture and ignores the rotate flag, so the result comes back empty or rotated. Say so and it's one instruction to fix. Fast movement and fine detail like curly hair or glasses frames break the edge, and it can't relight you.

Do I need a green screen? No. Vizard Agent separates you from an ordinary room, though a green screen still gives a cleaner edge.
Can the text sit behind me rather than over me? Yes. Ask Vizard Agent for it by name. It makes the shot read as a set rather than an overlay.
Will my audio change? No. This is picture-only, and Vizard Agent leaves the speech untouched.
