How to make a short intro with your logo
Attach your logo to Vizard Agent and ask for a short intro. Vizard Agent measures the logo, generates a background, a music sting and the sound effects together, and assembles them into a few seconds you can put on the front of every video. If you have made one before, it opens that first and matches it.
What is the short version?
The intro that gets used is the short one. Five seconds at the top of every video is a brand asset; twenty seconds is a thing viewers skip and you eventually stop including. The job is small, which is exactly why it never gets done — it is not worth an afternoon, and doing it properly takes one.
- Go to Vizard Agent and attach your logo.
- Say how long it should be and what it should feel like.
- From the second one on, say "match my last intro".
What do you need before you start?
The logo file and two decisions. Vizard Agent generates the background, the music and the sound design rather than pulling them from a preset library, so what it needs from you is the mark itself and enough direction to know what register the sting belongs in.
- The logo file, at the size you actually use. Vizard Agent measures it before designing around it, and a low-resolution copy limits the result.
- A length. Five seconds is the standard answer for something that runs before every video.
- The feel. Warm and welcoming, serious, playful, cinematic. One or two words is enough.
- What it is for. A Bible teaching channel and a gaming channel want different stings from the same logo.
- Your previous intro, if there is one. Same project, or upload it, and Vizard Agent will match rather than reinvent.
What do you type into Vizard Agent?
Short and specific beats elaborate here. An intro has very little room, so the useful instructions are the length, the register and anything that must be legible — and Vizard Agent will handle the rest without a shot list.
Prompt
Variants worth knowing:
- Match my last one. Once one is approved, this is the whole prompt for any future variation.
- Silent version. "Same intro with no audio" is worth having for videos where you score everything yourself.
- A matching outro. Ask in the same project and Vizard Agent builds it against the intro rather than from scratch.
What does Vizard Agent actually do?
Here is the order Vizard Agent worked in on a real five-second intro. Two things are worth noticing: it went and looked at the previous intro before designing anything, and it generated the audio and measured the logo at the same time rather than in sequence.
- Opens the attached logo to see what it is working with.
- Checks the project history and which style guidance is available.
- Loads the motion-graphics guidance and checks the previous video's format.
- Downloads the previous five-second video to study its style directly.
- Builds a contact sheet of that previous video and views its frames.
- Checks the available asset tools, then reads the options for background, music and sound-effect generation.
- Generates the background, the music sting and the sound effects in parallel while measuring the logo.
- Checks what has already been generated before assembling.
Step 7 is why a five-second video does not take three separate waits. Vizard Agent runs the independent pieces at the same time and does the measuring work while they are in flight.
What does the result look like?
From the run this page is written from, probed on the delivered file: 1920x1080, H.264, 30fps, exactly 5.0 seconds, AAC audio. Exactly five seconds, because that is what was asked for — an intro is one of the few formats where the duration is a hard requirement rather than a preference.
Ask for a vertical version in the same conversation and Vizard Agent re-lays the composition for the new shape rather than cropping the wide one.
Expect tens of minutes rather than minutes. This category was not separately measured; comparable work runs a median of 28 to 38 minutes end to end, and across all projects the median cost by tier is Flash 47, Pro 55, Max 242, Ultra 263 credits.
When does this not work well?
The constraint here is time, and it is unforgiving. Five seconds holds one idea properly, and most disappointing intros are disappointing because three ideas were requested and Vizard Agent fitted all three in — which is what was asked for, and which leaves none of them room to land.
- Too much in too little time. A logo reveal, a tagline, a shot of you and a subscribe prompt do not fit in five seconds. Pick one.
- Thin or detailed logos. They read at full size and vanish at phone size. Vizard Agent measures the logo, and it cannot make a hairline mark legible on a small screen.
- A logo with a transparent background matters. A logo delivered as a white rectangle sits on the design as a white rectangle. Send the version with transparency if you have it.
- Music has licensing attached. If the channel is monetised, ask Vizard Agent what the sting is built from and swap it if you need different clearance.
- An intro cannot carry information. Five seconds is long enough to be recognised and too short to be read. Anything a viewer actually needs to know belongs in the video, not in the sting that runs before it.
- The first one sets the standard. Every later intro is matched to it, so it is worth one extra round at the start.
How do you fix a result that came back wrong?
Say which element. An intro is assembled from a background, a logo animation and an audio sting that were generated separately, so Vizard Agent can replace one of them without disturbing the other two or changing the timing you already approved.
- "The sting is too loud." An audio change only.
- "Hold the logo a beat longer." A timing change inside the same five seconds.
- "Different background, same everything else." One element regenerated.
How does Vizard Agent compare to doing it yourself?
The alternatives are a template from a marketplace, or an evening in After Effects. The template is quick and belongs to everyone who bought it. The evening produces something that is yours and costs an evening, every time you want a variation.
| A template | Vizard Agent | |
|---|---|---|
| The design | Someone else's, with your logo in it | Built around your logo |
| Audio | Whatever shipped with it | Generated to match the register |
| A second version | Re-edit the template | Say what changes |
| Matching next year | Find the project file again | Vizard Agent opens the last one |
Common questions
How short can it be? As short as you like. Five seconds is the usual choice for something that runs before every video, and three works.
Will it match my last intro? Yes, if it is in the same project or you upload it. Vizard Agent studies the earlier one rather than relying on remembered settings.
Can I get a silent version? Yes. Ask for both and use the silent one where you score the whole video yourself.
Does it need a transparent logo? Not strictly, but it helps a great deal. A logo on a solid white box will be composited as a solid white box.
