How to save a clip where the webcam froze

What do you type into Vizard Agent?
Say what the moment has to communicate, not which seconds to use. That gives Vizard Agent permission to find an equivalent moment elsewhere, the only way to fix a freeze without a visible cut to a still image. What does Vizard Agent actually do?
It measures motion instead of trusting the eye. A frozen webcam over live gameplay reads as a pause when you watch it, but a motion map of which regions are changing shows the fault plainly. Then it searches the transcript for another moment that makes the same point. In the session behind this article it:
- Sampled frames to see the layout, zoomed in on the webcam corner and overlaid a measurement grid to read off the facecam's exact edges.
- Detected the static regions of the frame, which showed the webcam frozen for 8.3 seconds, from about 28.1 to 36.4 seconds.
- Transcribed the speech and checked the word-level timings. The line the clip needed sat at 34.4 to 36.5 seconds, inside the freeze.
- Checked key moments elsewhere and swapped in an earlier one where the camera was fully live and the speaker made the same point.
- Built the split-screen cut, rebuilt it with a cleaner facecam crop, and added music, sound effects and animated captions with corrected timings.
- Rendered the final cut and reviewed the finished frames, including across the swap.
When does this not work well?
A freeze can only be fixed if the recording contains a live alternative that says something equivalent. A line said only once has no substitute, and a recording frozen throughout has nothing to swap in. If the lighting or position changed, the swap becomes visible. Vizard Agent tells you plainly when it cannot find a match, rather than cutting to a still frame and hoping nobody notices.
